A service that we get called for regularly by customers is when they need us to pickup furniture. Now, a lot of times during the course of those conversations with customers we get asked “Do you guys do this?” The answer to that question is Yes and it is more than likely ‘Yes’ to over 95% of the “Do You Take This” questions. Aside from Hazardous Materials, we are able to take most things as it pertains to unwanted items or household junk. While it’s a fair question, the thing that we feel customers should ask more is “Do You Take These Things to Charitable Outlets.”
When we get called to pickup furniture, you would be surprised how many people choose not to take advantage of our charitable donation service. You see, we Recycle, Reuse or Donate between 50-60% of the items that we haul away. Furniture, specifically, is one of those things that doesn’t need to be doomed for the dump. We believe furniture, like a lot of other things, has a second shelf life. We aren’t a company that takes things for ourselves, but we do believe that “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” in the sense that there are a lot of families out there struggling right now that could use that piece of furniture that another homeowner is getting rid of.
You see, when you call the screened, uniformed professionals at Fire Dawgs to pickup furniture, we go the extra mile to make sure that the items you are getting rid of don’t just lazily end up in the landfill, wasted. We try to get them in the hands of families of people that truly need them, or in the hand of gifted people that can work to give it a second life, like the picture below illustrates. We provide furniture removal Indianapolis can trust and as such, we often come across pieces that look pretty rough. But with a gifted hand, some patience, and hard work you can take those piece and turn them back into something beautiful. (I must thank my wife for the work she put into this piece)
If you have a need for some strong guys to pickup furniture that is too big, heavy or is just ready to be replaced, then call 317-291-DAWG or email [email protected]. If you have a need for furniture moving, then check out our brother company Moving Dawgs.
