Do I Need to be Present for the Junk Removal Service?
The answer to this question is relatively simple, but does come with some stipulations. For starters, No, you do not necessarily need to be present at the time of your scheduled junk removal service. That being said, it always makes the process more seamless when our customers are able to be present so that we can discuss price, load size, etc. However, we are always looking to exceed customer expectations so if we can accommodate, then we will always try and do our part to make it easy.
Let’s explain why it’s best for you to be there first and then we’ll get into how we can still perform the service without you there. When we arrive to our appointment within the already scheduled two hour arrival window, what we do before getting to work is asses the scope of work being performed. Based on the load size, we give the customer a firm, free and no obligation quote to perform the work. At that time, the customer decides whether they want to have us perform the work for the quoted price or not. After performing the service and after the customers is satisfied with our cleanup and removal, then we collect payment, leave some memorabilia, shake hands and move on our way to the next appointment.
Now, when customers are not able to be present, we need a couple things to happen. We need to establish an acceptable price range to perform the service after getting a detailed description of the items needing removed. Depending on the scope of work, we may also need pictures. Customers need to be comfortable with the top and bottom of the price range provided so that when we get on scene, the customer has an expectation of price. Also, if the customer won’t be available via phone, then we will also need pre-arranged payment terms like a credit card. It’s incredibly important for customers to be as accurate as possible when portraying the load size because if they aren’t accessible on the day of the appointment and the load size is much larger than what was described, the price range may change and we won’t perform the work until we have approval.
