Question: Who can pick up and recycle appliances in Indianapolis?
Answer: Fire Dawgs, of course! Seriously, one of our featured services is Appliance Removal. Whether it’s an old dryer, a disfuntional washer or a refrigerator that you are sick of looking at because “you want stainless,” Fire Dawgs will take care of you from start to finish. What does that mean? Let me explain.
Often times, when customers call to get rid of appliances, it is normally because their trusty Kenmore or GE isn’t getting the job done anymore. Rather than call us right away, what sometimes happens is that the old appliances get moved off to the side to make room for the new appliances. The new appliances you just ordered come with “Free Delivery!” That’s great! However, they don’t always take the old appliances which can leave you in a pinch if you don’t have the means to get the old appliances up those steep basement stairs. That’s where Fire Dawgs comes in.
When you find yourself in need of appliance removal, you will look for a company to get the job done, but you’d also like for the old appliances to be reused, recycle or donated. So, you go searching for an eco-friendly solution to junk removal, which hopefully directs you to this blog or another page on the Fire Dawgs website. After hopefully getting most of your questions answered through our incredibly transparent website, you may mosey on over to our Contact page and submit an online inquiry, which is good for you because that means you just saved $25!
We will get back with you right away either via email or phone, whichever you select as your preference in the contact form. After hopefully answering any additional questions, we will provide a firm estimate or a price range if you have multiple appliances needing removed. Normally, however, we are able to pin down a price over the phone for appliance removal since we perform this service dozens of times a week. After scheduling your appointment, we will arrive on scene within our two hour appointment window and after calling ahead to let you know when to expect us. We will introduce ourselves, shake hands and then get to work. After having completed the service, we will clean up and leave you with some memorabilia (coupons and/or magnets) and then be on our way. But wait, there’s more!
Once we leave your property, we will do our best to Recycle, Reuse or Donate the appliance depending on the condition, age and size of the appliance. Often times, these tried and tested machines can be given a second life and put back into use through restoration and/or a little maintenance. In the event we are unable to put it back to work, then it will be recycled so that it doesn’t end up in a landfill unnecessarily. Fire Dawgs provides full service appliance removal and are committed to taking care of the customer from start to finish.
