Remover:

This is an entry level position in the company. A remover is essentially a helper training to become a Driver by studying the Driver & Remover manual and watching the training videos.

Driver:

This is a position in the company that one attains after receiving their For Hire Endorsement and Driver’s Training from a Certified Crew Chief. They too will need to have completed the Driver & Remover manual, watched the training videos and be moving on to studying the Crew Chief Manual.

Certified Crew Chief: 

A team member achieves this rank by completing the Crew Chief Certification program which is a 12 week training program within Fire Dawgs. After a Driver & Remover completes their 4 week probationary period, they continue on for another 8 weeks of crew chief training specific to the services that Fire Dawgs provides. Along the way, they have to read a book on leadership and pass a corresponding quiz on that book, learn and take a quiz on Fire Dawgs’ Company History, as well as pass a series of skills evaluations that are supervised by the Lead Technician or Operations Manager. Here they are responsible for equipment inventory, truck checkout cards, end of day reports, processing revenue through our CRM, etc..

Senior Crew Chief :

This position is attained by a Certified Crew Chief after having met certain time in grade requirements, performance benchmarks, received positive customer feedback with a quarterly evaluation by their supervisor of an 8 or higher. Once they attain this position, they start to take on extra responsibilities such as inventorying and ordering personal protective equipment, cleaning supplies, etc.

Lead Technician:

This position is the next promotion after a Senior Crew Chief and is reserved for team members that exceed the expectations set for a Lead Technician in terms of performance which are documented KPI’s inside the company. The Lead Technician oversees a number of Leadership responsibilities, the most important of which is being a Mentor to new hires and guiding them through the training process. They assist in quarterly evals and perform weekly training audits with team members. This position is groomed for Operations Management.
