How much to haul away mattress box spring sets?
Our pricing to haul away mattress box spring sets can be dependent upon a few different factors. First, how many sets are we hauling away? Our pricing will increase based upon the number of mattresses and box springs we are being asked to remove. Next, what size are the mattresses and box spring set? There is a distinct difference between the size of a King set versus a full size set. Are they clean or are they known to contain bed bugs? I understand this question is unpleasant but we need to protect our removers and if the mattress or box spring set contain bed bugs, then we will need to ensure our removers are properly equipped for safety.
All that being said, typical calls to haul away mattress box spring sets are easy to schedule and figure out. Our cost to remove the set, which is dependent up on the size of the set, can range from $105-180. If it’s a smaller set like a twin/full size, we typically can perform the service for $105-140. With a $25OFF coupon for ordering online, you’d be looking at a minimum of $105 and a maximum of $115. For a larger set, like a Queen, you’d be between $140-180. With a $25OFF coupon for ordering online, you’d be between $115-155. For a King Set, which is very large and therefor a bit more to dispose of, you’d beat $180.
Although you can no longer donate mattresses, due to the possibility for bed bug infestations and health reasons, you can recycle them, which is what we do most of the time. Companies like DAO Recycling will take these mattresses and provide a recycling solution. The main deviation from the pricing above would be if you were outside our typical service area or if you did have a bed bug problem. For areas outside our typical service area, you may incur a fuel charge and if you have a known bed bug problem, then we would charge an additional $50 for the tyvek suits.
