Fire Dawgs Junk Removal Acquires Boston Based Lug Away
INDIANAPOLIS, IN, Nov. 13, 2023 – Indianapolis based Fire Dawgs, Inc., the nation’s largest non-franchised junk removal company, completed the acquisition of Boston based Lug Away on October 20, 2023.
Per agreement of the acquisition, Lugaway will retain its current branding, leadership, and team members — which includes four full-time employees. The company will now be owned and operated under the Fire Dawgs Inc. parent company.
This is the second company Fire Dawgs Inc. has added to its portfolio in the northeast region following their partnership with Connecticut based Junk Bear in August 2023. This expands Fire Dawgs Inc.’s total numbers of operations to 13 across three different regions in the United States.
Fire Dawgs Junk Removal CEO Bennett Grove said this acquisition is Fire Dawgs’ next step to growing in the region.
“Coming off our recent acquisition of Junk Bear in Connecticut, this transaction with Lug Away represents real momentum in deploying Fire Dawgs’ growth strategy in establishing a regional footprint in the Northeast,” Grove said.
Grove believes this agreement came to fruition because of Lug Away owner Steve Conroy’s aptness to lead through his actions.
“What makes this transaction possible, similar to the transaction in Connecticut, is the leader of the Operation,” Grove said. “Conroy is as strong an operational field leader as they come. His ability to manage operations with efficiency and lead from the front will allow us to pour our resources into infrastructure and growth in Boston with confidence.”
Lug Away will continue to provide the same professional, quality residential and commercial junk removal services to customers in eastern Massachusetts and the surrounding areas under the Fire Dawgs Inc. parent company.
