We’re celebrating 10 years in business at Fire Dawgs Junk Removal in Indianapolis! We officially started Fire Dawgs in 2011. First, we want to thank all of our customers, family, friends, and supporters for cheering Fire Dawgs on. Here’s an excerpt from a letter we sent out to our amazing customers via email this morning.

It’s been 10 years since we started this dream of ours, Fire Dawgs Junk Removal. It has flown by so fast. We have had the privilege of serving families, hearing your stories, and helping you get your precious space back. We feel so blessed for 10 years of serving the most amazing customers and growing the most solid team of hardworking, Tough Dawgs. Thank you all for your love and support. YOU are Fire Dawgs Family, and we are always here when you need us.

Here are Some Facts About Fire Dawgs!
- The concept started with Bennett and his former partner at the firehouse where they worked.
- Believe it or not, our name was originally Junk Dawgs, and we had to change it. It worked out for the best, and we learned so many lessons along the way.
- There are legendary Fire Dawgs and Fire Dawgs Customers. Some of our first employees are still with us. Some of our first customers are still regulars. We think that’s pretty special!
- Miranda and Bennett are a husband and wife team. Miranda has been working fully in Fire Dawgs with Bennett since 2013. Happy wife, happy life!
- Fire Dawgs used to have a full-service moving division. Legend has it, Big John once slept in a moving truck to finish a job first thing in the morning. That’s dedication.
- Our mascot (the firefighter Dalmatian) is called the “muscle puppy” we also call him “J.D.” Can you guess what that stands for?
- When we first started, we had to park our junk removal truck at an auto repair shop in Speedway.
- Our team is the BEST at recycling and donating. We have wonderful relationships with donation and recycling facilities all over the cities we serve, because we are there SO much. You won’t find a company out there who cares more about where your junk goes.
- We have grown to 4 locations in Fort Wayne, Bloomington, Pendleton, and of course our headquarters in Indianapolis! We are still a small, local business and not a franchise.
- Fire Dawgs has served over 27,0000 customers in our 10 years in business!
